CBR 600 F4I I paint

I recently painted this Honda F4i for a friend. I hate painting sport bikes but it was for a good friend. The pint is Kustom shop jet black base with their chameleon green to orange large flake ontop. i also used quite a bit of clear. in these pictures it is not yet color sanded or buffed (im letting the paint dry a while before i cut it due to the temp here)

board track build start

I recently started the board track build. It is for someone who wants the ride-ability of a scooter and not having to register or insure their ride. Also he did not want to be seen riding a scooter. It is running board track style motorcycle rims and tires. the engine is a pitster pro 140cc race engine which actually puts out more HP then some board track racing era production 1000cc v-twins. i know this bike will probably get hated on alot because of my engine choice but for the price you cant beat it and its damn fun so if you don't like it, fuck off and go buy some more chrome for your Harley.

Finished up the frame jig

here it is. still need to ninish up a couple fixtures for it but its mostly done

the engine

this is going to be the engine for the boardtrack build. it is a pitster pro 140cc crate engine. for the power you cant beat the price. i have not seen any exact HP specs but it is estimated to put out around 10 to 14 hp in stock form.

scooters are gay

lets face it scooters/mopeds are gay and often compared to fat chicks.
although the idea of riding a moped is quickly dismissed by most, building a motorbike of 50 cc's or less opens many possibilities. for instance in Nevada you do not have to register or ensure a motor vehicle of 50 cc's or less. you dont even have to wear a helmet!
Now here is my idea and what i am in the process of building for a client. i am building a motorbike based on the 1914 Harley

but with this engine
this is a honda XR50 engine. there are many clones out there that can be had for less then $300.00 brand new. why this motor you ask? well in stock form it is just shy of 50cc's and makes somewhere around 2 to 5 hp but many performance parts are available for this motor. big bore kits are under $100.00 in most cases. with the right parts and tuning 13 to 15 hp is very possible and would propel a motorbike with this motor well over 60mph. there is allot going into this build to make it safe. i am by no means slapping this motor into a bicycle frame and going 70mph. everything will be purpose built to handle the speed. check back for the progress.
